Myers Chapel was established in 1944. The third generation family business is overseen by grandson Alson Mike Wise, Jr., and has been managed by Ernesto Alonzo. A crematory was added in 1984, the only one in the Porterville area. A new tradition began in 1995 to honor departed loved ones called Myers Christmas Memorial Tree, with the idea of giving back to the community. Myers Funeral Service and Crematory's belief is that everyone is to be treated with the same dignity and compassion as a member of their own family. The principles by the Myers family are responsible for the excellent reputation in our community.
